This lesson ROCKS! When you combine science, movement, creativity, and literature—you get a conglomerate of fun that helps kids engage in the wonder of God’s creation. 🪨 💎⛏️

Teaching Script

Lead with confidence using our step-by-step teaching script. Kids will discover how rocks and minerals form, explore a simplified Mohs hardness scale, and test samples with real-world experiments. Everything is written out clearly so you can guide your group without extra prep time!

PE Game

We’re bringing a whole new twist to an old game that is sure to be one played over and over!

Art Project

Unleash creativity with our art project where students craft their own crystal-inspired or geode-style artwork. Using simple supplies, kids will design sparkling masterpieces that double as take-home treasures.

STEM Activity and Rock Identification Tools

Let kids be junior geologists as they do 7 tests on their rocks and record their findings, a rock ID Guide is included to help you find common rocks/minerals!

✨ Perfect for homeschool co-ops, nature pods, and Christian educators who want ready-to-go, enriching lessons that blend science, activity, and creativity.

With this Rocks & Minerals unit, your students won’t just learn about geology—they’ll experience it.

      Fun and engaging

Thank you for creating an affordable, robust, open-and-go curriculum! I love how you can tailor the information to meet the needs of your group and that there is so much presented in a fun and engaging way. I also appreciate the options you give whether you want to purchase an individual lesson or different membership plans. I used this lesson for our Walking with Jesus hiking club that meets once a month. The Truth Talk and scripture references fit well with our January theme - Rocks + God is our Rock. I am so thankful for all the hard work and research put into these Christ-centered lessons!

      A beautiful lesson

Learning about crystals was definitely the hit during this lesson! The kids all said that was their favorite part! The pictures were beautiful and the lesson script was helpful for a topic that can be confusing to teach (in my opinion). I would definitely recommend this lesson for any kids who want to learn more about rocks and the minerals that they are made of!
